Espresso Labs has formally joined AIM Global, the multi-stakeholder alliance created by UNIDO to guide the responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence in industry and manufacturing. What is AIM Global?
AIM Global stands for the Global Alliance on Artificial Intelligence for Industry and Manufacturing. It was launched by UNIDO — the specialized United Nations agency dedicated to inclusive and sustainable industrial development — at the World AI Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai in July 2023.
The alliance brings together governments, industry leaders, the private sector, academia, and civil society around a shared goal: to make sure AI drives industrial competitiveness and sustainable development while keeping its benefits fair and accessible across all countries and industries. Its work is aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
