Devint is going to China. Espresso Labs' performance evaluation platform for technology teams was selected, through a public call, for Soft Landing Global China 2026, the internationalization program run by Softex, the Brazilian software industry association, under an initiative of Brazil's Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI).

To represent Espresso Labs and Devint in the on-site stage, our CTO, Thiago Alves, and our sales director, Lucas Chicuta, are heading to Shanghai in September.

What Soft Landing China is

The program prepares Brazilian technology companies to validate opportunities in the Chinese market through a three-stage journey: an online immersion with strategic preparation and mentoring (August 31 to September 18), participation in Tomorrow City in Shanghai, one of the major international innovation events (September 22 to 26), and a business mission in the city, with an agenda focused on generating deals and connections (September 28 to 30).

In practice, it is international validation with a method: understanding whether the product is ready to compete globally, building the go-to-market strategy and getting a close look at one of the world's most dynamic innovation ecosystems.

What we are going after in Shanghai

Devint arrives at the mission with a clear goal: testing the product's thesis outside Brazil. The pain it solves, evaluating developer performance in a world where AI changed the cost and the nature of technical work, is global, and China concentrates some of the largest software engineering operations on the planet.

During Tomorrow City and the business mission, the team will present the platform and the DevScore to companies, investors and potential partners, gather reactions from a market with its own dynamics and map entry paths, from local partnerships to integrations with the tooling ecosystem used there.

One more step in a strategy in motion

The selection comes just weeks after Devint's market debut at Rio Innovation Week 2026 and confirms the design of our strategy: products born in Brazil reaching the world through the network Espresso Labs built as an international software house.

We thank Softex for the selection and for the program's structure. We will share here, and on our social channels, what we find on the other side of the world.
